Living Your Best Life Unbreakable

People will always tell you “Don’t have a life of “almost’s” or “could have’s”… live a life worth living.”

Really? Thanks. Does that come with a “how-to” book? No? How about a yellow brick road?

Well here’s the spin that’s missing from that oh-so-humble statement - it’s ok to have a life of “almost’s” … as long as you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and try it again. You “could have” made that PR, but you stopped just short because of an injury, or keeping yourself from getting injured. Instead of living up to someone else’s expectations, live up to your own. A life of “almost’s” and “could have’s” is not only ok - it’s encouraged.

Instead of the above negative “don’t” do something in your life - try this positive outlook. Live a life of “I tried hard, and I failed anyways, but I got back up and did it again until I was successful.” Not only is that a much more believable story, but it’s 100% real. Nothing worth achieving happens on the first try. And nothing worth having is gained without at least one “almost” attempt.

Living Unbreakable is a lifestyle. It’s not an overnight change. It doesn’t happen in a week or month. It happens in the mental shift when you’re ready to accept that failure is only unacceptable if that’s the end of your story. If you fail and never get back up, if you fail and decide that’s the bottom line - shake it off. Swallow that lump in your throat, wipe away the tears, and know there’s a whole crash behind you ready to support your next attempt.

Don’t wait for the “right time” to live your best life, start living Unbreakable right now.
