I'm In a Book!

When I started running back in college, I could never have predicted how it would change my life.

It wasn’t one pivotal, defining moment during racing or training, but rather a series of events over the past decade that I have been able to learn from.

Waking up early to run in the rain. Chatting with other runners at the start line. Racing during the last mile of an Ironman. Being a part of a community so much bigger than myself.

Which is why this particular moment, right now, I am so excited to be able to give back to it.

I am honored and delighted to share that I was recently interviewed and featured in a running BOOK 📚 titled “Running from COVID-19 - Moving Forward and Staying Healthy During the Pandemic” by Lauren Keating.

We all know COVID-19 has forever changed the way we interact as a human race - but for runners, a sport built on community and engagement, what does this mean? From premature season endings to race cancellations, it’s been a rough go. But the good news is …. running itself is not canceled.

In this book, Lauren discusses how the running community has been affected by COVID-19, and how to keep moving forward and stay motivated during this time. I was featured as a professional athlete and experienced coach/expert, giving advice on various aspects of running during this time. Check it out - literally worth the bang for your buck on this one, or more.
